Flamethrower

this week luckily went pretty smooth aside from attempting the flamethrower weapon. The problem was trying to figure out the VFX spawn and de spawn for when the player is holding the trigger button. it would activate and spawn the VFX wherever the location and rotation was correctly but would never de spawn leaving a trail of flames everywhere on the map which would decrease the frame rate at an alarming speed.


to fix this i ended up having to make a makeshift Flamethrower that uses multiple smaller bullets rather than Box line trace which was just modifying the original stats from A_weapon pickup test into the flamethrower to have a flame feel to it with each bullet doing tiny amounts of damage.
